Revenue & Customer Service Assistant (Part Time)
A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Revenue & Customer Service Assistant (RCSA). The post holder will be required to work at both the Tramlink Depot and the Tramlink Shop in George Street!
At the Shop, the responsibilities of the post will include dealing with enquiries, handling lost property, sales of tickets, passes and souvenirs, and processing penalty fares. Cash handling skills are therefore desirable.
At the Depot, duties will include maintenance of records, processing unpaid penalty fares and dealing with penalty fare appeals. RCSAs also deal with the investigation of refund claims.
Good administrative and word processing skills are desirable, as is the ability to produce good written English when replying to correspondence. As the public face of Tramlink, RCSAs must be well presented and customer focused with a friendly and professional manner. Applicants must have a flexible approach to work in terms of location of work and nature of duties and the successful candidate will need to be trustworthy, self-motivated, capable of working on their own initiative and a good team worker. First class customer service skills are also essential.
RCSAs are responsible for dealing with telephone enquiries both at the Shop and at the Depot. A good telephone manner and knowledge of the local area and public transport services would therefore be an advantage.
The hours of work are 22 hours per week Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08.00 and 12.24.
Free uniform will be provided.
32 Days Annual leave days in a full year.
Applicants may be required to undertake appropriate aptitude tests in addition to attending an interview.
