Main Purpose
Responsible for producing SWR car parking revenue and occupancy reports, conducting analysis to understand and inform demand and revenue growth. Periodic reporting on other Ancillary Revenue elements, primarily advertising. Supporting wider Commercial Development team with reporting and analysis.
Principal Accountabilities
- Supporting Senior Commercial Development Manager in developing and delivering commercial strategies in relation to Ancillary and Farebox income.
- Producing regular revenue reports and insights, including commentary on performance against forecast, explaining variance and highlighting risks and opportunities including car parking, advertising and farebox income.
- Conducting ad hoc analysis to evaluate the impact of external events or business initiatives on revenue and occupancy.
- Conducting in depth pricing analysis and providing suggestions for annual car park price and product changes.
- Undertaking research into SWR markets, revenue growth or products requiring in-depth focus. Conduct analysis that will explain trends and lead to actionable initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Support the wider Commercial Development team in developing new regular farebox and other analysis reports to support wider commercial priorities.
- Supporting the Ancillary and Pricing Manager with analysis required to inform robust product and pricing decisions for long-term business plans.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Degree level in a numeric discipline desirable
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Expert user of Excel for analysis essential.
- Experience using BI Tools, Access and SQL desirable.
- Skilled in translating complex data into easy to understand and relevant management information.
- Ability to communicate and clearly explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Knowledge of transport or similar industry preferred.
Working Pattern
Working an average of 37 hours per week over 5 days
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
