BUSINESS ACCOUNT MANAGER – MANCHESTER/HYBRID WORKING

What will you be doing?

As our Business Account Manager, you'll play a big part in helping us grow our share of the business travel market. This includes helping develop our sales strategy, making sure that sales channels perform and working to improve the customer experience, specifically for those travelling on business. Working with our industry partners, Travel Management Companies, Chambers of Commerce and corporate clients, you'll help maximise opportunities to increase revenues. We're big on leisure travel as well and you'll also help us to grow our new groups proposition. We've recently appointed a new team member to support this area as well as our SME corporate offering, so you'll use your direction and leadership skills to help develop them. You'll be the voice of authority and an ambassador for us on business and group travel requirements which will ensure we shape and deliver the best travel experience for our customers.

What skills are required?

To succeed, you need to understand the corporate and business travel market. Ideally, you'll have a firm grasp of transport ticketing and retail too, but this isn't essential. It's more important that you have a track record of selling to businesses and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. At the same time, you'll be good with people and great working in a team - able to influence, negotiate, present reports and above all build long standing successful relationships. A degree or (equivalent) will underpin your talents.
